Generate graphics automatically from Airtable records

Connect your account, no copy-pasteVerified against the provider’s API

Airtable webhooks can only be created through its API, which usually means tokens and code. With Drawtab you connect your Airtable account, pick a base, and Drawtab registers the webhook for you — every new or changed record then renders on its own.

What sets it off

A record is created or changed in the Airtable base you connected.

What you get

  • Certificates
  • Member cards
  • Listing graphics
  • Status updates

Setting it up

One-time setup. After this it runs on its own.

1

Create an Airtable pipeline

Pick Airtable in Drawtab Pipelines and choose the template each record should render into.

2

Connect your Airtable account

Press Connect Airtable account and choose which bases to share in the Airtable window. There’s no Personal Access Token to create.

3

Pick your base

Search and choose the base. When you create the pipeline, Drawtab registers the webhook on it and stores the signing secret Airtable returns.

4

Map your columns

Your Airtable column names become paths like fields.Name and fields.Email.

What you can put on the graphic

These are the paths you type into a template hotspot. Once a pipeline has received its first real record, the Sample Payload inspector shows your own data and you can click a value to fill the field.

Field pathWhat it holds
fields.NameWhatever your Name column is called
fields.EmailEmail column — used for delivery
fields.<Your Column>Any column in the table, by its exact name
idAirtable record ID — good QR content

How Drawtab knows the data is real

Airtable pings carry no record data, only a notice that something changed, and each ping is MAC-signed with the secret returned when the webhook was registered. Drawtab verifies that signature, then fetches the changed records from Airtable’s API using your connected account — so the rendered data always comes from Airtable itself.

Drawtab registers the webhook on your base when you connect, stores access tokens encrypted, and removes the webhook when you disconnect.

Common questions

Do I still need a Personal Access Token?

No. Connecting your account replaces it. Pipelines set up with a pasted token keep working, and connecting the account later switches them over.

What if I edit twenty records at once?

You get one graphic per changed record, up to twenty per ping. A cursor is stored so the next ping picks up exactly where the last one stopped, and nothing is rendered twice.

Do Airtable webhooks expire?

Airtable expires webhooks that go unused for about seven days. If your base goes quiet for longer than that, choose the base again in the pipeline and Drawtab registers a fresh webhook.
