Generate guest passes automatically from Luma
Luma sends the guest’s name, email and avatar the moment they register. Drawtab turns that into a branded pass and emails it back to them — no export, no designer, no manual step.
What sets it off
A guest registers for an event on your Luma calendar.
What you get
- Guest passes
- Attendee badges
- VIP tickets
- Welcome graphics
Setting it up
One-time setup. After this it runs on its own.
Create a Luma pipeline
Pick Luma in Drawtab Pipelines and link the template you want each guest rendered into.
Add the webhook in Luma
In your Luma calendar settings, add a webhook pointing at the pipeline’s trigger URL.
Paste the signing secret
Luma shows a signing secret when you create the webhook. Paste it into the pipeline so Drawtab can verify every delivery.
What you can put on the graphic
These are the paths you type into a template hotspot. Once a pipeline has received its first real record, the Sample Payload inspector shows your own data and you can click a value to fill the field.
| Field path | What it holds |
|---|---|
name | Guest’s full name |
email | Guest’s email — used for delivery |
avatar_url | Their Luma avatar, ready for an image hotspot |
ticket_key | Unique ticket reference — good QR content |
event.name | The event they registered for |
How Drawtab knows the data is real
Every delivery carries a Webhook-Signature header in the t=timestamp,v1=hmac form. Drawtab verifies the HMAC over the exact raw body and rejects anything older than five minutes, so a captured request cannot be replayed later.
Every pipeline also has its own secret trigger URL, which can be rotated at any time without touching your template or mappings.
Common questions
Does the guest get the pass automatically?
Yes, if you turn on email delivery in the pipeline. Drawtab uses the email field from the registration as the recipient.
What if a guest has no avatar?
The image hotspot falls back to whatever default you set on the template, so the pass still renders cleanly rather than leaving a hole.
